This site does one thing: it builds a printable, wallet-sized currency conversion card. Using it doesn't require an account, and the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
Exchange rates. When the page loads a live rate, the request is made by this site's own server to a third-party exchange-rate provider (currencyapi.com). Your browser never contacts the provider directly, and no information about you is included in that request — it contains only the two currency codes being converted.
Hosting logs. Like virtually every website, the server this site runs on (Krystal, a UK hosting provider) keeps standard access logs, which include the IP address, browser type, and pages requested for each visit. These logs exist for security and troubleshooting, are not used to identify or profile anyone, and are rotated automatically.
Third-party resources. The page's styling is loaded from the Tailwind CSS CDN, which means your browser makes a request to that service when the page loads, as it would for any site using a CDN. No other third-party resources are used.
Your card. The choices you make on the page — destination, home country, currency — are reflected in the page address so you can bookmark or share a pre-filled card, but they are not stored anywhere by this site.
